Designed and developed in Japan by video transmission technology pioneer Soliton Systems, Zao-SH is the latest H.265 ultra low latency live video encoder transmitter. With its next-generation video processing algorithm RASCOW2, latency is dramatically reduced to 35 milliseconds glass to glass. This ultra low latency video transmission revolutionizes use cases that require near real-time video. Soliton's innovative technology enables new possibilities such as teleoperation, remote monitoring and controlling, real time surveillance and many other applications. The Zao-SH features a robust H.265 HEVC encoding engine in a compact and lightweight form factor.  Soliton's next-generation video processing algorithm RASCOW2 and multi-link bonding technology leverages commercial 4G and 5G networks to deliver quality and stable video in the most challenging network environments.

Another important feature of the Zao-SH, especially for teleoperation applications, is the “Serial Tunneling over the Mobile Network”. The benefits of this is the breaking a barrier of physical locations between controller and a vehicle or any type of Edge devices. By using this serial tunneling function, sensor information from devices such as autonomous vehicles, can be sent to the remote controlling side.  In parallel, control command data is sent from the remote controller side to the vehicle.  This is critical for near zero latency applications.
